Can AI edit a video longer than 30 seconds?
Yes. One AI generation is limited to the model’s clip length, but the editor works scene by scene: Auto Split cuts the video into model-sized scenes and AI Edit All regenerates up to 12 of them with one prompt. To make a video longer, keep generating the next scene from the last one; the timeline holds up to 30 minutes.
Do I need to install anything?
No. The editor runs in your browser on desktop. Sign in with a free AI9app account to open it.
Is the video editor free?
Arranging, splitting and styling on the timeline is free, and your first saved project costs nothing. Auto Caption, translation, AI generation, upscaling and rendered exports use credits from your AI9app balance, and the editor shows the price before you confirm.
Which languages can it caption and translate?
Auto Caption works in more than 20 languages, including English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish and French, and can detect the spoken language for you. The subtitle track can then be translated into another language and applied in place.
Can I use clips I generated elsewhere on AI9app?
Yes. Videos and images from the AI Media Agent, AI Video, AI Space Note and My Stuff can be sent straight to the editor or imported from inside it.
What does it export?
A rendered MP4 of the timeline, plus the subtitles as an .srt file. Individual clips can also be downloaded on their own.
Will I lose my edit if I close the tab?
Refreshing the tab restores your session, and saved projects stay in your account so you can reopen and keep editing later.
